Join us for an exciting after-school Taekwondo class where students will explore the rich history and techniques of this dynamic martial art. Participants will engage in drills designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and endurance, while also improving coordination, reflexes, and overall athletic skills.
Students will learn a variety of Taekwondo kicks, forms, and self-defense techniques. Beyond physical fitness, Taekwondo promotes discipline and the importance of following instructions, making it an excellent way for students to develop valuable life skills.

Students will have the opportunity to pass the belt exam after their 12 classes courses at Wood Acres. If your child feels ready before this time, we can invite you to have them pass it at the Taekwondo studio. You will need to choose which option works best for you.
This session is taught by Master YoungJo Lee. Master Lee has over 30 years of experience teaching students of all ages. He is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is also a Black Belt in HapKiDo, YongMuDo and Judo.
Students are welcome to practice Taekwondo in street clothes, and they also have the option to purchase a uniform from our instructor Tae Kwon Do's studio; link here- (personalized with our instructor's name and his studio's logo) uniform will be brought to school directly. You are welcome to buy your own, as well!
