Studio Classes

 Apple Tree Students 

We coordinate directly with Apple Tree to pick up and bring students to our studio for class, parents simply need to let their child's teacher know in advance.

 

At dismissal, families can choose to pick up their child directly from our studio, or, if enrolled in Aftercare at Apple Tree, we'll bring them back ourselves.

After School Classes

Baking Class  | Pre-K3 & Pre-K4 | Mondays

Little bakers will have a blast mixing, measuring, and creating delicious treats while learning basic kitchen skills in a fun and safe environment. Through hands-on baking projects, children will explore ingredients, practice following simple directions, develop fine motor skills, and build confidence in the kitchen. Each class combines creativity, sensory exploration, and tasty discoveries that young chefs will be excited to share with their families.

Time:    3:15 – 4:00 PM

Dates:  September 14, (no class September 21), 28; October 5, (no class October 12)19, 26, (no class November 2 & 9), and November 16.

Creative Movement  | Pre-K3 & Pre-K4 | Tuesday 

Join us for an exciting journey into the world of movement!

This dynamic class offers a fun environment for children to explore rhythm, musicality, and self-expression. 

Students will grow in agility, strength and self confidence, while building meaningful social/emotional skills.

Time:    3:15 – 4:00 PM

Dates:   September 15, 22, 29; October 6, (no class on October 13), 20, 27; (no class on November 3), November 10 and 17.

Sensory Fun Class  | Pre-K3 & Pre-K4 | Wednesday

Get ready to explore, discover, and create! Our Sensory Fun class is thoughtfully designed for young children, combining hands-on sensory play with early learning concepts to support cognitive development, fine motor skills, and social interaction. From cloud dough and kinetic sand to color mixing and texture exploration, each session offers a brand new and exciting adventure that keeps little minds engaged, curious, and inspired. A perfect complement to your child's early learning journey!

Time:    3:15 – 4:00 PM

Dates:   September 16, 23, 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11 and 18.

Arts & Crafts Class | Pre-K3 & Pre-K4 | Thursdays

Our little crafters will be creating new projects throughout the session, selected by seasonal trends, and themed art projects to celebrate holidays, explore nature…from jewelry dishes, wall decor, garland, tassel making, DIY chalk, pinata and more. Students will learn the basic techniques to accomplish each project on their own and will be guided every step of the way by our talented instructors.

Our instructor will demonstrate the new techniques and process but will allow each participant to express themselves and add their own personal touch to the projects.

Dates:   September 17, 24; October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; November 5, 12 and 19.

Saturday Classes

Mixed Media Class | 6+

Our Mixed Media Art Studio is a fun, hands-on class where young artists explore drawing, oil pastels, watercolor painting, printing, and more! Each session brings a new medium and a new project to life, with step-by-step guidance that encourages creativity, skill-building, and self-expression. All levels are welcome, and every child leaves with a unique creation to take home and a growing love for art!

John is a highly talented artist and dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience. For the past nine years, he has been a full-time Art teacher at Georgetown Day School, inspiring and mentoring young artists. We are thrilled to have him leading this course.

Time: 10 – 11 AM

Dates: September 19, 26; October 3, (no class on October 10), 17, 24, 31; November 7, 14, 21, (no class on November 28), and December 5.

Tiny Rodin (Sculpture) Class | 6+

Our Sculpture enrichment class welcomes beginners and advanced artists alike. Students explore creativity through clay, paper, and other materials, learning sculpting techniques, texture work, and spatial awareness while expressing their ideas in three dimensions. Classes are designed to meet each child at their own pace, encouraging experimentation, problem-solving, and self-expression.
